Hello

I worked at a fast-growing tech company before leaving my job in 2019, walking into a career change & some unknown terrain. During this time I co-raised two children, lived through the pandemic, and started a business, all the while applying discernment and prayer in the quiet moments of my life. What emerged was a deep love of Spiritual formation and accompanying people in their spiritual lives, like others had done for me. Spiritual Direction emerged as an answer to a liminal season of asking God, 'What is my work?' My desert wandering led to quenching streams of water. I feel so grateful to be called to the ministry of direction, as it is rare to find a place (and a person) with whom we can bring our doubts and questions without feeling doomed or broken for having them. I love using images and creative imagination in my direction practice. Sometimes words cannot express what we feel about God or ourselves, and a piece of art or an image can help us enter into what's real with clarity, even reverence, as we discover how God comes to us uniquely and lovingly. I am used to working with people from all walks of life. It is a joy to encounter God in the diversity of those who bear God's image, shaped by different families, faiths, cultures, and life experiences. In addition to my training, I have a background in comparative literature & art. My professional experience includes creative entrepreneurship, human resources & executive leadership training. My client base has a wide range of reasons for seeking Spiritual Direction, but I do have particular training and a heart for those who are questioning their faith, and for church leaders who need a compassionate space with a guide who understands the complexities of ministry, well-being, and service within a church context.
